We believe that the purpose of Early Childhood Education is to help children discover and release their potential. Children learn and process their world through play. Nurturing and care giving are considered essential components of a quality child care curriculum, along with age-appropriate activities, and experiences, that promote growth and discovery in the many areas of child development. Children shall be cared for in a healthy, safe, and loving environment, with kindness, gentleness, and a high level of understanding and responsiveness to developmental stages and needs. Adults shall work with children in ways that promote positive self-concept and creative thinking.
McCloud Elementary Preschool offers a nurturing environment designed to foster development of positive self-esteem, emotional well-being, social skills, independence, creativity, communication skills, and problem-solving abilities through:

McCloud Elementary Preschool operates Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 11:30 p.m., with the exception of major holidays.
